Billing is per minute rather than per token, which makes voice easier to forecast than text: the cost of a call follows its length, not the size of what was said. The realtime and standard transcription models are priced differently, so the choice depends on whether you need the text during the call or after it.
ElevenLabs ships no text models, so drafting, tagging and translation stay with whichever LLM provider you have connected. Both sets of assignments live in the same AI settings.

What is the difference between the transcription models?
One is built for realtime and the other for recorded audio, and they are priced differently. Use realtime when an agent needs the text while the call is still open.
Can ElevenLabs write reply drafts?
No. The ElevenLabs models in the registry are voice only. Drafting stays with your connected text provider.
