Two ways to keep your seat

The 30-day rule

Keep your free seat by using it

The seat stays yours while you use it. Working in your RolChat account counts: the inbox, tickets, CRM contacts, visitors, the help center. So does the widget loading on your site.

  • A team member signs in and works in the account.
  • The widget loads on your registered domain.

Day 1: You claim a seat

Your 12 months start. We count the 30 days from this day.

Day 21: First email

A reminder, sent if nothing has counted as use yet.

Day 27: Second email

A second reminder, three days before the seat ends.

Day 30: The seat ends

The workspace turns read-only. You can export your data. The seat is freed for the next company.

Day 60: Data deleted

The data is deleted 30 days after the seat ended.

Use means one of two things: a team member signs in and works in your RolChat account at app.rolchat.com (the inbox, tickets, CRM contacts, visitors, the help center, anything in the app), or the RolChat widget loads on the domain you registered. Either one counts, from the first day. If neither happens for 30 days, the seat ends. We count days from your last use, or from the day you claimed the seat. On day 21 we email you, and on day 27 we email you again. On day 30 the seat ends: the workspace turns read-only, you can export your data, and the seat returns to the pool for the next company. On day 60 the data is deleted.

What is the catch?

We want 300 companies using RolChat and telling us what to improve. Two things still apply: AI usage goes to your own provider, and optional add-ons are paid.

How do I get my free year?

Sign up, then open the support chat in the app and ask for the Founding 300 year. We switch your account to Lite for 12 months.

What counts as using my seat?

A team member signs in and works in your account, in the inbox, tickets, CRM contacts, visitors or the help center, or the widget loads on the domain you registered. Either one counts. If neither happens for 30 days, the seat is released.

What happens if I stop using it?

We email you on day 21 and on day 27. On day 30 the workspace turns read-only, you can export your data, and the seat is freed for the next company. On day 60 the data is deleted. You can also move to a paid Lite plan before then.

What happens after 12 months?
